When you're trying to sell a new medical device to a doctor, you've got two minutes, tops.
Medtronic had a sales team out pounding the pavement (more like basements with no wifi) selling to busy doctors. I led the team that designed and created an iPad app for their sales fleet. The final app worked offline and let salespeople point to any part of the leg and instantly get a set of case studies at their fingertips. We also incentivized doctors interested in a study to give email contact quickly on the same app, and receive a PDF copy via email. We then created a platform on-boarding strategy for those emails. Delivered on time for a demo/keynote unveiling at their annual sales event in Las Vegas.
